Lucked upon Lava Motors after existing SUV beyond repair. Found a GMC online Sunday (12-24-2024) before Thanksgiving. Zack called on Monday to say still available. Same day met with Patrick who handed over key fob to test drive. Vehicle immaculate appearing fresh off assembly line. Left deposit and retrieved on Wednesday. Not certain which is more impressive: the class act customer service; or, my like new state of the art vehicle. Great when you're offered both. Not only the quickest, but the best transaction I've experienced in a long while. Possibly ever! Only concern is familiarizing self with all the added features. Truly one stop shopping at its best!

Great Experience
Drove an hour up to see a car I had a ton of interest in. Patrick upon arriving got the car ready for a test drive. Car was better than what it showed. Patrick was kind enough to give a first responder discount and get me on my way in under an hour. Great service, great to deal with. Will look here again when its time.

Today on our way back to NY, we had a blowout right next to Lava Motors. A salesman, Patrick came out, asked if he could help, offered us the rest room, and said we could wait inside for AAA to arrive. His kindness was much appreciated. Purchase
I found the used car that i wanted on Car Guru emailed Lava Motors and heard right back from them. I had gone to other car dealership and they didnt return my call nor helped me. So i decided to take a ride with my son and go see the Subaru Crosstrek i wanted. The minute i walked in and meet Patrick he was so kind and said he could get me approved and he did. My experience here was smooth, easy, no pressure, no hassle. My questions were answered with experienced knowledge from both Zack and Patrick. Not only were they easy to talk with, down to earth guys but accommodating to any future and present needs. Driving a bit over an hour to purchase my vehicle from them was worthy investment.

Unbelievable service
On New Years Eve 2023, I had a tire blowout right in front of Lava Motors, about 6 at night. Although Zack was closing up shop, he offered a unique way of repairing it. He would not take any money. Zack is the warmest guy you will ever meet. I know this from experience, and I thank him for it.

I Should have Bought From Lava Years Ago
Right from the beginning when my wife and I went to Lava Motors everything was laid back and absolutely no pressure. When we went inside, we met with Patrick and told him about the vehicle my wife was interested in. He immediately got a dealer plate and told my wife and i to take it out for as long as we need to see how it drove. Again upon out return, there was no pressure regarding an immediate sale and no hype about if we don't buy it now, someone else will. The next day, we decided to purchase the vehicle. I spoke with Zack, the owner via email. He was very recptive and very responsive to my inquiries. Needles to say, we are very happy with our vehicle and will be doing business with Lava Motors from now on. Thank you Zack and Patrick for the pleasurable experience.

Best Buying Experience Ever
Zack and Patrick made our buying experience the best we’ve ever had. We were buying a vehicle from out of state and they did everything in their power to make the entire experience as easy as possible. They were attentive to our needs, polite and honest. My wife and I just moved to Massachusetts and were looking for two cars. I spent two frustrating weeks on Craigslist and at local dealers with no luck. I noticed Lava Motors because they advertised good cars at reasonable prices. I finally told my wife that it may be worth the hour and a half drive to Canton Connecticut to check out their selection. I am very glad we did. I purchased a car for myself at a great price and Zack was extremely helpful. He gave me all the paperwork needed to register the car in Massachusetts, which I did the next day with no problems. I went back with the MA tags to pick up the car and they had detailed it. It looked better than when I first saw it. The car drives great and passed the MA inspection with no issues. A week later I checked their website again and saw a car that was exactly what my wife was looking for. It was a little higher priced than we wanted to spend but was too good a deal to pass up. Long story short, we ended up buying it and everything went as smooth as with the first car I purchased from Lava Motors. Zack is a nice person to deal with and he's doing it right. He has good cars, with low miles, priced reasonably. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Lava Motors for good deals on used cars.

Absolutely awesome experience all around. I drove up there from the NYC area and was treated better than how the dealers in my home area. The owner, mechanics and front desk lady were all genuinely polite, unlike other experiences ive had. Most importantly the overall car buying experience was the best because i felt that i got a really good deal on the vehicle. They’re up front and honest about their vehicles and follow through with any minor things to work on the vehicle. Im most definitely going back to get my girlfriend a car however i hope she doesent read this post bc then she’ll know im getting her a car haha.

I highly recommend Lava Motors. We purchased a Volvo several years ago from Zack and had a great experience with him, so naturally Lava Motors was our first (and only) stop when we were looking for another car. Eddie, Pat and Zack were fantastic and worked with us to get the Audi Q7 we wanted. They are very professional, knowledgable and accomodating. Lava Motors will always be our "go to" dealer when looking for a vehicle. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Best car purchasing experience I have had to date. Vehicle, to begin with, had a very thorough service record through Carfax, almost triple digits in recorded Cadillac dealership servicing. Purchasing at just over 100,000, this vehicle is equivalent to 20 thousand miles wear both inside and out. I have had this vehicle for 8 months and besides requiring a higher demand in voltage than the previous owner and installing a new battery and alternator, I have had zero issues with this car and are very satisfied with the service I have received. I will without question purchase my next vehicle here.

Zack and Patrick are GREAT
My wife and I recently bought a used 2015 Mazda CX-5 from Zack and Patrick, and I’ve got to say that the whole process was surprisingly painless and easy. These gentlemen have actually changed the usually negative term “used car salesman” into something honorable, which I didn’t think was possible. I would certainly and highly recommend that you shop at Lava Motors first if you need a good used car, at a fair price, with absolutely no hassles or regrets. Zach and Patrick are a class act – totally honest, non-pushy, and willing to follow through with any issues after the sale. After our first test drive, we noticed a few things that needed attention, and Zack took care of those things and more. When I told him I was going to buy custom mats for the car from Weathertech, he wrote me a check to reimburse me. Pretty incredible, since I told him this only after I bought and took possession of the car. He didn’t have to do this. I didn’t have to negotiate a final price with Zack because he gave me a fair final price when I offered to buy the car. His price was definitely equal to and in most cases lower than the prices offered for the same car on Autotrader.com and similar websites. And his reputation was stellar. Like I mentioned earlier in this review, if I had to specify one characteristic of Zack and Patrick, I would say these guys are 100% honest. And that’s what you need when shopping for a used car. Thank you gentlemen. We love our new Mazda!

All I can say is the owner of the company Zach is a great guy! From the moment I met him, Zach and his entire staff were honest, knowledgeable about the GMC truck I purchased and completely open to fixing any issues with the truck, prior to my purchase at no additional charge. Price was very competitive and it was a great experience. Needless to say, I love my truck and will definitely go back there for purchase of next vehicle. Highly recommend!

I'll be frank, I don't think I can look at car service the same again, because Patrick had truly set the bar. He went above and beyond. I lost my first car in an accident, and had little to no credit history, because I just started working. Getting a loan was naturally going to be incredibly difficult. Patrick was able to bring down my rate and get my vehicle financed with an acceptable rate. He also reached out and help me get a rental from a company that was cheaper than what I was using at the time. Finally, because I just moved to the state and needed a local insurance provider, he was able to hook me up with an insurance agent that got me a quote that was half of what I was going to pay. I cannot stress how rare and excellent his service has been. Mind you, Ive only known the guy less than 6 hours, yet he was incredibly helpful and accommodating in navigating numerous financial and logistical hurdles that were in the way, and continued to do so throughout the week. He is by far the best car dealer I've had the pleasure to meet. A real down to earth friendly family man who invest time and effort into his clients. 5 stars out of 5!! PS, he does have good music taste

Going above and beyond to get a car back that they no longer had on their lot/inventory. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely cannot stand car salesmen or dealerships. Everything about the whole experience is pretty nauseating to be frank. HOWEVER, my experience with Lava Motor Cars (and my salesman Patrick) was nothing but short, sweet, and to the point. Never once did I feel like I was trying to be tricked or taken advantage of in any way. If you’re like me when it comes to buying a car, buy your car from here.

I recently got a car from Lava Motors, hands down one of the best dealerships I've been to. Fantastic place, customer service was perfect and Patrick extremely helpful. I was able to buy my dream car and drive it off the lot on the same day even though I live in NY. I had been looking for a Volvo for months and Lava Motors managed to hook me up with one and I am truly grateful. 10/10 would recommend to any one looking for a used car, even if your someone like me who lives several hours away, the drive is definitely worth it.

Not only did these guys sell me a great car, they took care of me immediately when a small issue occurred a few months after. They also took care of my mother who broke down right near their shop, Patrick drove straight to her and had her car diagnosed within 15 minutes, the repair cost was more than reasonable and done very quickly. Both Patricks, Zack and Justin stand by their word and are excellent to deal with, I would give 10 stars if I could.

I purchased a BMW X3 about three weeks ago from Lava Motors. Being 19 years old and in college, I was worried about buying a “lemon” and having to dump a ton of money into a car. Jason and Zach were absolutely fantastic to deal with. Not typical used “car salesmen” at all. About two weeks after I purchased the car, some sensors were going off on the dash. I called Zach and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He told me to take the car to him ASAP, no appointment needed. Zach replaced the turbo in the car (which runs about $2,500+) for 100% free. 2014 VW CC - The best used car dealership ever! I was searching for a used car and I was excited that I found Lava Motors. I have been buying cars for a long time and the experience that I had with Lava Motors is significantly over the top from anyone else that I worked with in the past, period! I had been pre approved for a loan and Zach and Patrick in finance worked outside my pre approval , and they cut my finance rate in half! That's what I call customer service! I will be dealing with Lava exclusively from now on!

SUPERSTARS … that’s how I would sum up my car buying experience with Zach and Patrick at Lava motors 2. First of all, Zach the owner and Patrick were both very kind, friendly and down to earth type of guys. Usually, the paperwork of a car buying experience simply put is horrendous. You won’t find that here, the paperwork of your vehicle here goes seamless, quick as well as painless. I'm from out of state and I was looking for a used Subaru Outback that was in great condition. Lava 2 motors in Connecticut had the car that I was in search of. I live in Pennsylvania, and I looked all around my area. All the cars in my area were well over 130 to 140,000 miles and just seemed beat up. Zack and Patrick had the car I was looking for which had 100,000 miles, one owner, clean car,clean Carfax, clean title, and no accidents. Their place of business was very cozy with a fireplace, nice furniture, clean, very comfortable atmosphere and both Zach and Patrick could not have been more hospitable. Most car dealerships are filled with a bunch of shysters, scam artists and cars which I feel are subpar. You will not find this here at lava motors 2, Their kindness, honesty and sincerity go to a whole new level that I was not used too. They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Even after I drove back home (4 hour trip to PA.) I did notice a few things on the vehicle a few days after getting home, such as a passenger side lock switch was broken, and the blower motor started to squeal. I called up Zach and told him about the situation and immediately he told me he would rectify the situation. Within a week’s time I received a box with the parts in it. He said his main goal was to make sure I was happy with the purchase. I’m telling you…. these guys are the best! It’s now been about 2 months and the car runs amazing. If you're looking to purchase a good vehicle for a good price and from a dealership that Drives their business with honesty, integrity, superior customer service and simply to make their customers HAPPY… than this is the place to go… LAVA motors 2. I will most definitely take the 4-hour trip back to Connecticut and get my next vehicle from Zach and Patrick. Thank you, guys, for the very best car buying experience.

I've been involved in the automotive industry in various capacities my whole life. I have never had a more satisfying and seamless transaction than I had with Lava. The whole staff, starting with Patrick Baker in sales and Zack, the owner, and Patrick in the business office, are efficient and conscientious. The car was delivered in spotless condition and with brand new tires. Would recommend them to anyone with no reservations. You could not have a better car-buying experience anywhere else. And after extensive research, I found Lava to have the best prices on the east coast.

Not pushy or rushed like most car salesmen and worked with us and our requests for the vehical were fulfilled completely! And the owner zack was great very outgoing and willing to do anything we requested as well, along with the finance department no last minute warranty pushes or gimmicks. Car Financing
In order to purchase my car, I was in need of financing. Patrick Baker had me contact Patrick Longhi, Operations Manager. My dealings with Patrick Longhi were wonderful. Although he has many, one of his best skills is communication. He kept me notified on a timely basis of the progress of my loan. When I went to meet with him, he had all my papers organized and explained each form. It was a pleasure to deal with him and Lava Motors.

My second vehicle purchase this month from Lava 1 motors .Once again Patrick in sales pulled through and found me the car I was looking for. Everything I wanted clean, great on gas and looks great. Besides finding me a car, Patrick made the buying experience easy and painless. Patrick is always helpful and ready to answer any questions . Besides being professional Patrick is great guy on a personal level ,he has great sense of humor and easy to get along with, a great guy to deal with. I drove down from MA to check out a 2012 Honda Accord. My son just got his license and was in market for a reliable first car without breaking the bank. Prior to heading down, I read all the reviews for Lava which were very impressive. Upon arrival, I met Zack and the Lava team. A very friendly non-pushy crew. The Honda was priced very reasonably so there really wasn’t much bartering over a final price. The Honda had a few minor issues but that’s expected with a 110,000 mile car. Zack held to his word and took care of everything, even after the sale. While I was at the dealership someone came in and purchased a car without even taking it for a test drive. I overheard the buyer tell Zack that his dealership had good reviews and she trusted him. All in all you can’t go wrong with Zach and the Lava team. A great experience overall. If you’re someone who knows almost nothing about cars, it’s easy to be taken for a ride (pun intended). As somebody who spent her entire adult life in NYC, I never needed a car. So, when it came time to get one, I was in the dark. Then I met JASON. Jason is Lava’s biggest asset and I’m here to tell you why. He got me into a pristine and highly affordable Subaru within a week (would’ve been sooner, but I was waiting on a paystub). The car runs perfectly and it was waxed and detailed upon pickup. Not only did he have the car I wanted, but he knew I wasn’t familiar with the car-buying process. Instead of trying to jab me and take advantage of my lack of knowledge, Jason explained literally every single thing to me in great detail and with incredible patience. After a couple months of looking on line, I narrowed in on a vehicle at lava motors for what I thought was an insanely good price. I researched the vehicle & decided to call. Already I was on the fence as to why such a good family vehicle was so reasonably priced. I put on my mean face & was determined to find faults because my last purchase of a pre-owned vehicle from a dealership went so wrong. What I found was a very good vehicle& even better people. I noticed the tires were a lil bald & they replaced them. Jason knew I was worried about later issues & got me a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty giving me total peace of mind. After we signed the papers we noticed a rear back up camera that wasn't listed in the features (it wasn't working). The owner ordered a camera & will replace it at no cost to us. I couldn't be happier or say enough good things about the ppl at lava motors. We love our new car! I highly recommend lava motors

Lava Motor Sports helped me out more than I can describe. Heres how it went... I was looking for a reliable car and was recommended Lava by a person from my town, as they had bought a Subaru Outback in previous years that didn't have any problems. Immediately, I was intrigued. I visited the place a few times and spoke with the salesman, all of them who helped me in my final decision with plenty of knowledge and even more support. Nobody was pushy, everybody is genuine, and they all are on the same page about their used vehicles being in top condition. I ended up buying a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was amazing... for about a month. A month or so later, the check engine light came on, as the engine was overheating. With my lack of knowledge about vehicles, I kept driving the car and ended up destroying the engine. I was very upset, as I put the blame on them and gave them an extremely hard time. We decided to go through insurance to cover the damage (which was replacing the entire engine) and they came to the conclusion that since it was technically my fault, they were not going to cover anything. The owner of Lava sports did not accept this. He took the matter into his own hands and paid for the entire engine replacement, which was more than $5,000, out of his own pocket. He was not even mad about it, and understood that this stuff happens. I highly, highly recommend this place to anybody that is looking to buy a used vehicle. They will not let you down. They have your back. I have been driving the Jeep for about a month and it is smoother than ever. They give you the truth and nothing but the truth. If the car is a POS, they will let you know and will try to bring a a newer, better one. Thank you to the mechanics, salesmen, and owner. I have been wanting to trade in my vehicle for a manual transmission Subaru Crosstrek for quite some time now. I finally pulled the trigger and found a beautiful 2015 model at Lava Motors. Honesty
I just received the best and strangest phone call from the Jason at Lava. I am looking for a car for my granddaughter and he calls me and tells me he wouldn’t put his child in that car. He said if he wouldn’t put his kid in the car he doesn’t feel comfortable putting someone else’s kid or grandchild in it . What?? This is a car salesman and he is more worried about the safety of my granddaughter instead of making the sale!!’ Not only will I take his recommendation on the Subarus, but will only by a car form Lava Motors!! I had a terrific, hastle free, experience with my salesperson, Jason, who is likely the best sales rep I have ever worked with. No pressure, honest, and efficient. I had one minor issue with a bulb after the purchase and the owner Zack took immediate care of it and actually compensated me additionally for my "trouble", which it wasn't. I went to Lava Motors to look at a Subaru Crosstrek. It was 1:45 drive from Rhode Island to Lava Motors. After test driving it, I decided I would take it that day. What usually takes hours was accomplished in 1. I signed for it and left that same day. Zach was amazing and made sure that every detail was perfect before I left his yard. I added crossbars and was out kayaking the very next day. I am looking for a truck too, if he gets the one I want, I have no problems buying from him again. I purchased the Crosstrek almost 2 months ago and have zero regrets.

Everyone at Lava Motors was professional and hospitable. Every time I need a new vehicle, the first place I will go is Lava Motors. Julian and Zach were extremely understanding in my car buying experience and I was not just pressured to buy a car at all . You know they are legit based on the fact that they offer 6 months warranty on every vehicle!!! I got a great deal on a 2014 VW Passat and couldn’t be happier! He also included a 6 month/6,000 mile warranty, which no other dealer came close to in my research and dealership hopping. Drove about an hour to Canton from the New Haven area to look at a vehicle listed for sale at this dealership. The owner, Zack, was great to deal with and very professional, and he is a rare thing in the world of used cars - an honest dealer. He made the process easy, he didn't use pressure tactics to get us to buy immediately, and even paid the price difference himself when he discovered he had undercharged us for the DMV registration transfer fee. The car was in perfect condition - detailed beautifully, minor repairs performed, he even took it through emissions - when we picked it up. It was an extremely pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Lava Motors, and would definitely buy another vehicle from them.

My experience started with my test drive. I arrived and was greeted by Zach. He then asked which car I wanted to see. He gave me the keys and allowed me time to examine the vehicle. When I was ready, Brianna tomorrow k my license and told me to enjoy the car. I went for a fifteen minute year drive. Upon returning, I put a deposit down on my Volvo XC60. This was a no stress experience and very enjoyable. When I came to pick up my car, the paperwork took 20 minutes. It was so fast, that I didn't realize we were done. Very organized and professional. They made my car buying experience stress-free. Thank you for your assistance. Great dealership and very helpful.

I should have written this review a few weeks back but needed to sit back and reflect on my experience with Lava Motors. I have never dealt with a dealership that allowed me to look at the vehicles on the lot without rushing out to ask a bunch of questions or pressure me into sitting down to purchase a vehicle. I truly appreciated that. However when it was time to make a purchase you will not find more helpful people. From the owner Zak to the mechanics I was amazed at the willingness to answer questions about the vehicle I was purchasing. I can't say enough about how honest and forthcoming they all were about the vehicle. It resfreshing to find a dealer that wasn't simply concerned about making money and treating customers as if they were just a number. We bought a Jeep from here. We had some issues with no warranty after about 4 months. I did write a review about it because I was upset. Zake got ahold of us within min of the review. We bought an older jeep from lava. They were wonderful. Although now going into 4 months something is going on with the front end. Also battery light is on. Replaced the battery so thinking maybe it’s the alternator. Just not happy having now a Jeep sitting in my driveway till we find a mechanic. Just figured we could go a little while being able to drive it. I really needed a reliable vehicle and thought that we would be set for awhile and it stinks.

We did have very good experience buying a Jeep from here. Although now going into only about four months some things are going on with it. Something in the front end and looks like maybe the alternator. I get it’s an older Jeep but still not to happy about having to sink a ton of money and having to find a mechanic already to work on it. I bought a low mileage vehicle from Lava , which looked great in the photos. When I arrived it still was very clean. I am very picky with my vehicles, so naturally after I decided to make the purchase, I began to do a close inspection. I found a few flaws not to my liking, so I brought it to their attention. Lava Motors by far deserves MORE than 5 stars. With every purchase of a car (no matter the price), they will give you a 30 day FULL Warranty just in case something goes wrong. Zack and his crew will take care of you to make sure that you are happy and perfectly content with driving off the lot. They are completely honest and transparent with you in every step of the process. This is a shop where the employees take pride in their work and it shows. Definitely recommend them!

Very friendly customer experience. Zack wasn't there when I wanted to test drive a car, but his staff was extra helpful. Handed me the keys and a plate and said "take all the time you need". I put a deposit on the car and came back the next day for another look. I noticed a couple of smallish things wrong that I hadn't noticed before and asked Zack if he would lower the price. He was fine with it. When I went to finalize the purchase Zack had the car looking clean and gassed up. Pretty much all you could ask for.

And when we recently had a question about a warning light, he stood behind that - we brought it in and he resolved it quickly and at no charge. I found the car I was looking for at Lava Motors in Canton, Ct. I live in Long Island and had to incur ferry and uber charges to see the car and hopefully purchase it. When I arrived, Amelia and two mechanics were finishing up detailing the car. I had arrived early so I had the pleasure of interacting with these wonderful caring people who were putting so much effort into this car. Not knowing what to expect of this car in person, I was blown away as to how perfectly the ad description matched the actual vehicle. The owner Zack arrived and I had the chance to thank him for his honesty and accuracy regarding this vehicle. When Zack and I were discussing the price and a possible warranty, he had thanked me for traveling so far and began to adjust some finances. Zack's care and concern for his customers {I witnessed another sale while I was there} is extraordinary! I was speaking with him for just a little while and I couldn't wait to bring one of my family or friends up to him to buy a car when they will need one. In closing, I'm still amazed at the genuine, and I do mean genuine... warmth, concern and care from this company. The mechanics were very friendly, Amelia is amazing and Zack has a friend for life! Everyone at Lava Motors is easy to work with. We were looking at a car and the owner Zack walked up and gave us the keys and a plate for a test drive. He worked with us on the price and made sure we were taken care of. I had to go back for an issue and without question Zack helped us out. I just bought a vehicle from Lava. So far so good. Popular Avalanche was priced 2k below book value and had only minor defects.They put vehicle up on a lift so I was able to inspect the frame and running gear. Vehicle was cleaned to perfection. I asked for an extra set of keys, tires to be rotated and headlights to be restored, all items were completed prior to closing. Zack's reconditioner did an amazing job. Amelia the bright friendly young lady who runs the business is really terrific. The paperwork including registration was in perfect order when we arrived to pick up vehicle. Zack is lucky to have such young quality people in his employ. I will post again as I have only had vehicle for a week. I have purchased 20 cars in my life this was by far the best experience.

Great place to do business. This is the second car I have bought from here and I have been happy with both purchases. Zac is friendly and willing to negotiate. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a great deal on a used car. Update: the headlight was out when we brought it home. Brought it back and Zach replaced the light, which was almost $75 his cost. Keeping customers happy seems to be their mantra. Update: I stopped by to look for another car. The one I wanted had just been sold. Zach looked for the model I wanted, but they're just not available. Zach called me every week for 5 weeks and let me know that he could not find one in good shape. I asked him about any other car and he told me about an infiniti he had on the lot. I stopped in, drove it, and bought it. Zach detailed it, did the brakes, and put tires on it. I am again a very happy buyer. Zach and crew get two thumbs up from me. So, now I am on my fourth car from Zach. Found a great SUV and my kids are all driving the rest of the cars we bought. Honourable, commendable!
Unfortunately the car I bought juddered when I got it onto the highway. Brought it straight back, Zack took it for a spin with his mechanic. He came back and said sorry, there's an expensive-to-fix issue we didn't spot (nor did the mechanic down the road I paid to inspect it, BTW). He refunded me my money, plus the cost of my inspection, plus 100 for my trouble, both of which he volunteered without asking, as I'd made two trips from an hour and a half away. I was sad not to get the car but very impressed with Zack's handling of the situation: I'd bought the car with no warranty, so he could have told me to take a hike.

If you are reading this, continue finish reading this, decide what kind of car you want and WAIT until it ends up at this place of business. Then come here, look at it, drive it - hassle free I might add - and buy it. You need look no further. Zack and his team were friendly, knowledgeable and came with no high pressure pitch. On the day of my visit, Zack was not there, but one of his mechanics actually came out of the garage and asked me if I had any questions. Who does that anymore?! I was there to drive something for my daughter that she would like and that I would agree to, liked it, drove it, heard a noise under the hood and had other questions. I e-mailed Zack a few times over the course of the next few days and he always got back to me same day. He answered all of my questions, explained the noise under the hood and flat out fixed it - made it go away! We drove over an hour to come here to buy it. Within 2 weeks of purchase, one of the lights came on, brought it to my local guy who wanted an awful, awful lot of money for labor and part replacement. Called Zack and explained the problem. He suggested I try something first to see if it would go away. It didn't. I brought it in and he fixed it for less than what he had ballparked me and 1/3 of what my local dealer was going to charge. 5 STAR review for sure! Pleasure doing business with you.

I recently went to Lava Motors with my son to purchase his first car. It's always a scary thing but Zach and his whole crew have made it the most enjoyable experience. Even with a few bumps in the road they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. To have a dealer make you feel like they were putting there own child behind the wheel of a new car is unheard of these days until I came to Lave Motors. Top notch very friendly an honest we drove 2 hours for a BMW it's so clean an nice like new there was a problem with it that we would not have known with out it being up on a lift the owner told us he couldn't sell it to us like that, so they fixed it up 100% before we brought it home. Zach was great to deal with. Straight forward no bull. I mentioned the bushings were squeaking and they replaced them right away and he also gave us a brand new doughnut and tools without us needing to ask. The car is running great. I definitely recommend Lava to friends and family.

Logan ( young salesman) greeted us like we were old friends, very personable, knowledgeable, upbeat and positive. Answered all our questions and really gave us a good feeling about the dealership. Then we met Zack, the owner. Very thoughtful, honest and fair guy. When we went to pick up the truck we purchased, he wasn’t pleased with the quality of the detail. He spent 30 minutes detailing it himself! He introduced us to his beautiful family and is clearly focused on quality and customer satisfaction. I’ve bought several cars and dealt with many dealerships in 30 yrs, Lava Motors is by far the best car buying experience I’ve had. Hands down best experience ever purchasing a vehicle. We have purchased many vehicles (and campers) and have dealt with many types of sales people. We were just burned by a local dealer (we live near Albany NY). We found one that Zack had for sale and messaged him because it was after business hours. To our surprise that same night Zack called us back. His prices are excellent which is why we were willing to make the drive for this vehicle. We explained our situation to him about just being burned. In the meantime he got another person interested in the same vehicle who wanted to drive from even further than us and offered to pay more then his asking price. To my surprise he gave me first refusal instead of taking the opportunity to make more money. We found two minor things wrong with the vehicle when we got there, he immediately had his mechanic pull it in and fix it on the spot. One item they couldn’t get the part for he gave us cash for the part plus labor even though I was doing it myself. As long as he’s in business he will have us as repeat customers, this was hands down the best dealer experience we’ve ever had and so worth the 2 hr drive. This is coming from a master tech mechanic who has Owned over 40 vehicles. If you want to deal with a non pushy and honest used car dealer, go see Zack at Lava Motors! We honestly can’t say enough good about him and our experience.

I purchased my son's first car (Jeep Liberty 03) a few months ago and waited to write this review because I didn't want to give a 5 star rating to Lava Motors if my purchase end up being a nightmare. I was apprehensive on purchasing in CT because I'm from MA (1hour away) and the laws are different. From the beginning, Zach and his staff were very professional, courteous and helpful. After I test drove the vehicle, I addressed all my concerns to Zack and we wrote a list of what I felt needed to be fix. Zack not only addressed what I felt needed to be done, but went a step further and addressed other issues that I did not know about. I took the vehicle home and it immediately passed MA state inspection. I do have to say that a couple of issues (not major) with my vehicle did arise, but the reality is that the Jeep is 15 years old. All in all, we are happy with our Jeep and my daughter will be on the road soon. I will defiantly go back to Lava Motors and see if I can purchase her first car from Lava Motors. A. Reyes

To be honest, I hate shopping for used cars because of the characters you have to encounter and high potential of hidden problems. Enter Zack from Lava Motors. Completely opposite experience. This was more like buying a car from you brother or your dad passing it down on to you. I think major car brands should send their people to watch Zack deal with the customers so that they can learn a thing or two and raise the quality of their dealerships customer service. When Zack sold us the car he didn't just take the money and handed the keys, he made sure we are very comfortable with the purchase, he spent his time with us without rushing us to a decision. He was completely open and showed us every bit of the documentation. He made sure the car is safe to drive by installing new pads and rotors, new tires, he did oil and filter using the correct grade of oil (was expensive German synthetic oil in our case - we bought BMW 535xi), he even provided copies of all the receipts for the materials and parts he installed. Amazing experience. One word of advise though - when you come to Lava Motors, be ready to make your decision. He moves cars so fast it might not be there in an hour any more. Thanks Zack, when we need another car we'll be knocking on your door again!

Great experience!
A couple of weeks ago we purchased a 2005 Passat from Lava Motors. Working with Zach was super easy. Before we bought it, he replaced several important (and not inexpensive) components, including the timing belt and water pump. Just the other day the check engine light came on and it was a faulty sensor and Zach fixed it no problem at no charge, even though the car was bought "as is" and not technically under any warranty. The whole buying process was wonderful and he has really taken care of us. Good car at a good price, dealing with good people, and great customer service. What more could you possibly ask for when purchasing a used car?

An Actually Enjoyable Experience
I dont even like going into stores because someone might ask me if I "Need any help?" and I get all anxious and self conscious. So the idea of buying car had me nervous and sort of dreading it. But I kept driving by the lot and sort of scanning from time to time (I was in no hurry) and when I finally saw what I was looking for I drove home to look it up and found all the details I needed. Then I took a deep breath and drove in and asked to drive the Jeep. Zack said "sure, here are the keys I'll get you a plate." No pitch, no gimmick- just keys. From start to finish I felt comfortable and informed and they made it all so low pressure and clear and simple. Zack even bought me lunch while I waited for some forms :) I am in love with my Jeep and so relieved that it all went so easily. They even handled all the DMV stuff so it was one stop. The inventory moves fast so if you like a car- jump on it. Thanks Zack- it was, I can't believe it, a pleasure.

A Pleasant Experience

Good place to purchase a vehicle
I purchased a 2008 Subaru Tribecca. The owner (Zach) was very nice, not pushy and gave me time to think about my purchase. He understood that purchasing a vehicle was a serious decision that was not to be taken lightly. When I picked up the vehicle it had been detailed inside and out, and I was very satisfied. It would have been nice if it had a full, or even a half tank of gas. However it wasn't too bad, it was just below the half mark. Anyhow, the vehicle has been running great so far. I have had it now for about three months. He even replaced the brakes, for me before I picked it up. I do recommend purchasing a vehicle here. I haven't had the best experiences with my previously owned vehicles that I had purchased in the past. But I have a good feeling about this one. I would come back here for my next vehicle

One of Kind!
My 18yr old son purchased his 1st car from Zach and I had a hard time explaining to him that this experience of dealing with a kind, informative and caring individual is not the norm. Once he did his own personal inspection he found a major issue with the frame. He didn't sell me the car and risk putting not only my safety at risk but my family's as well. I have been searching for a ford f150 for the last couple months until I stumbled across one from lava motors . When I saw the truck it was perfect inside and out, to my liking. The prices all around Zack' s lot are incredibly fair not really negotiable however I nit picked a couple things that concerned me and Zack had no problem to correct fix my concern at his cost . I've owned 3 cars all bran new from dealers first time walking into a used lot you get what you pay for but the difference is Zack will not leave his customers unhappy 30 days from now 90 days he will be there to give you best deal . I have had no Con's against lava motors great place staff to purchase any kind of vehicle for your self. Don't see the vehicle you are looking tell Zack what you want and price range he will find one for you.

This was the best buying experience I ever had. Dominique and Zack were awesome. I test drove the car on a Thursday and picked it up that Saturday. I told Zack I might be running late and he was more than happy to wait for me if needed. When he says whatever you need he really means it. Great people and great deals on vehicles. Truly an awesome buying experience. Very honest upfront so there is no need to haggle or anything. They make you feel like family. They call you when they say they will. Beyond Excellent Service
This is an EXCELLENT place to buy a trusted used car. I just woke up and peeked out the front window to see if it was real, or did I imagine that yesterday I got my first car from LAVA Motors in Canton. Thank you Zack! It's true! IThere she is! I got a used 2001 Black Toyota Tacoma. Great looking,and a very safe and reliable car. The buying process was very quick and easy for me and my mom! Zack, Dominique, and the staff who did the detail and emissions and checked it all over were extremely helpful and supportive to us at all times. They helped my mom pay for it with a really good deal. The car looks beautiful and came with a half a tank of gas in it already. Would 10/10 recommend for purchasing a used car! Zack is the best!

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER !!
As you know, car buying can be a stressful experience....... pushy salesmen, dishonest dealerships, rude customer service...... but not here ! Zach and his staff go above and beyond to make their customers happy. My 16 year old daughter loves her first car . ( 2007 VW Passat ) It was in great condition for a great price. It was near closing time when we purchased it . Zach said to come back the following day and it would be ready to go. When we arrived, the safety check was completed, oil changed, washed and detailed, gassed up, registered, plates on and paperwork completed! A couple signatures and we were on our way. We noticed a car online and drove down from Mass to Connecticut to check it out. I was skeptical at first, thinking the price was too good to be true. My wife needed a safe winter vehicle to drive as she has a yellow Ford Mustang and every year in November this baby goes in the garage, and the winter vehicle she used last year was a 1993 Ford Exployer, it was not safe anymore for her to drive so we donated it to Wheels For Wishes they benefit Make-A-Wish in Connecticut and what they sell it for at an auction goes to the Make a Wish foundation. So now I was on the hunt for a vehicle for her, that was safe and affordable...Her wishes were that she wanted a Yellow Jeep, she loves the color yellow and likes Jeeps, boy I had my mission cut out for me - it almost seemed impossible. Well, guess not, I found it on the internet after 2 months of searching. The dealer was Lava Motors, I immediately went there and looked at it. He just purchased it so the day I saw it, he had only had it for a few days. I took pictures of it, as well as showed her the amazing pictures Zack posted on the internet and showed my wife, she LOVED it! I then brought her there to see it and the rest is history. S O L D... But it does not stop there, Zack Ezzeddine, the owner was amazing, very, very helpful, he is a owner that is not out for the $$, his most important factor as being a owner/salesman, is he wanted us to be 100% happy with the vehicle, no rushing on his part at all, it was in our ball park, so we inspected it - then test drove it, we found a few things that needed fixing, he went above and beyond in fixing them, and detailed the vehicle for us. Again, when we picked it up, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied. We took it home and brought it to a family member who has a business for repairing vehicles, he went through the vehicle and found a few things that needed to be fixed. We brought it back to ZACK and he said he wanted us happy and most important SAFE. So he said we will fix it. Again, his most important factor was to make sure we were SAFE, and happy with his services. All I have to say is, If you go to LAVA Motors,you will be very pleased with him/and his employees, their honesty and service to you as a customer. Thank you Zack my wife is very, very happy, loves her vehicle, and says the yellow color of this jeep brings her much happiness, she is so happy that I found it! Best experience ever.
To be honest, I hate shopping for used cars because of the characters you have to encounter and high potential of hidden problems. Enter Zack from Lava Motors. Completely opposite experience. This was more like buying a car from you brother or your dad passing it down on to you. I think major car brands should send their people to watch Zack deal with the customers so that they can learn a thing or two and raise the quality of their dealerships customer service. When Zack sold us the car he didn't just take the money and handed the keys, he made sure we are very comfortable with the purchase, he spent his time with us without rushing us to a decision. He was completely open and showed us every bit of the documentation. He made sure the car is safe to drive by installing new pads and rotors, new tires, he did oil and filter using the correct grade of oil (was expensive German synthetic oil in our case - we bought BMW 535xi), he even provided copies of all the receipts for the materials and parts he installed. Amazing experience. One word of advise though - when you come to Lava Motors, be ready to make your decision. He moves cars so fast it might not be there in an hour any more. Thanks Zack, when we need another car we'll be knocking on your door again!

Quality Vehicles and Excellent Service
Zack and his team are a great group of folks to deal with. I recently purchased a car from Zack. Zack had exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something fun to drive and affordable. My entire experience (ie vehicle history, test drive, inspection, purchase and delivery) was fantastic. My car was detailed and ready to go as promised. At delivery, Zack said to call with any questions and he meant it. I've called Zack after the purchase and he has been very helpful, going above and beyond my expectations. Great Experience
I went to Lava Motors after an enthusiastic recommendation from my local car mechanic. From the minute we stepped onto the lot we were pleased. We met Zack- the owner- when he came out to shake our hands and see if he could help us. We had been on the Lava website a few times and had an idea of the cars we wanted to see. We felt no pressure from anyone there, only helpful guidance and answers to our many questions. We test drove a beautiful Volvo XC70 that was immaculate inside and out and I was sold. Of course my SO had to know all about the important stuff and the potential issues the car had. We were informed of the CarFax, the vehicle's history and of the few fixes that had to be taken care of and all of it was done by the next business day! After one more test drive and a thorough play-by-play of the exact work the mechanics had done we paid and left with the car. From the office to the lot everyone was kind and helpful and I am pleased to say "Welcome to the neighborhood Lava!". They are a class act and I highly recommend Lava motors if you are looking for a new-to-you car.
